A Slower Kind of Saturday

Before the holiday rush begins, make time for a little local tradition.

The Harrisonburg Farmers Market is open Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout November, offering an easy way to explore the area's growers, makers, and small businesses.

Wander through Turner Pavilion, browse what's in season, and pick up something local to enjoy during your stay.

The market's November schedule includes Tuesday and Saturday markets from 8 AM–1 PM.

Eat, Sip & Something Sweet

A Little Taste of November

Good food deserves a place in the itinerary, especially when a local market makes it easy to sample something new.

At the November 14 Festive Fall Open-Air Market, the announced food lineup includes:

  • Catrea's BBQ & More
  • Shenandoah Valley Reserve
  • The Sweet Spot Dessert Truck

That means you can work a savory bite, something to sip, and a sweet finish into your market visit without needing to make several separate stops.

For another low-key food outing, stop by the Harrisonburg Farmers Market and see what its seasonal vendors have available.

Our tipCome hungry, browse first, and make time for dessert. Vacation calories have a remarkable talent for finding their own itinerary.
